The EBCC hired Fred Schlabach and Peter O’Connor to repair damage on the steps and floor or the porch and completely replace the leaky roof and water-damaged ceiling, so new lighting could be installed in the fall. By August the carpentry was finished, and Ryan Newswanger and Sue Schlabach scraped and re-painted the porch and stairs in time for the Linen Fair.
